Cultural Holiness – Jerry Bridges

Many Christians have what we might call a “cultural holiness”. They adapt to the character and behavior pattern of Christians around them. As the Christian culture around them is more or less holy, so these Christians are more or less holy. But God has not called us to be like those around us. He has called us to be like Himself. Holiness is nothing less than conformity to the character of God.

Holiness would transform the world – CS Lewis

Holiness would transform the world – CS Lewis

How little people know who think that holiness is dull. When one meets the real thing … it is irresistible. If even 10% of the world’s population had it, would not the whole world be converted and happy before a year’s end?

Do this if you want be holy – Charles Spurgeon

If you think you can walk in holiness without keeping up perpetual fellowship with Christ, you have made a great mistake. If you would be holy, you must live close to Jesus.

God one desire for humanity – Oswald Chambers

God one desire for humanity – Oswald Chambers

God has one destined end for mankind—holiness! His one aim is the production of saints. God is not an eternal blessing-machine for men. He did not come to save men out of pity. He came to save men because He had created them to be holy.
