Undermining the authority of Scripture – HB Charles Jr.

Undermining the authority of Scripture – HB Charles Jr.

I believe the enemy of our souls is at work to undermine the authority of Scripture. The veracity and authority of the sacred Scriptures are attacked to thwart and threaten the truth of the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ. The enemy seeks to sabotage the biblical proclamation of Christ to stop the advance of the message of the gospel to all the nations (Matthew 28:18-20).

Well, she’s willing – Gladys Aylward

Well, she’s willing – Gladys Aylward

I wasn’t God’s first choice for what I’ve done in China…I don’t know who it was…it must have been a man…a well-educated man. I don’t know what happened. Perhaps he died. Perhaps he wasn’t willing…and God looked down…and saw Gladys Aylward…and God said, “Well, she’s willing.”

Quickening Faith – AC Dixon

Quickening Faith – AC Dixon

We need a quickening of faith; faith in the power of the God of Pentecost to convict and convert three thousand in a day. Faith, not in a process of culture by which we hope to train children into a state of salvation, but faith in the mighty God who can quicken a dead soul into life in a moment; faith in moral and spiritual revolution rather than evolution.

God at work on us – David Wilkerson

God at work on us – David Wilkerson

We are so busy working for God, we forget He is trying to work on us. That is what this life is all about: God at work on us, trying to remake us into vessels of glory.

Jealously Protecting the Church – AW Tozer

Jealously Protecting the Church – AW Tozer

The church that is not jealously protected by mighty intercession and sacrificial labors will before long become the abode of every evil bird and the hiding place for unsuspected corruption. The creeping wilderness will soon take over that church that trusts in its own strength and forgets to watch and pray.

Seeing Faith – Dennis Anderson

Seeing Faith – Dennis Anderson

You cannot see faith, but you can see the footprints of the faithful. We must leave behind “faithful footprints” for others to follow.
